FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used both to stabilise teeth mobility that arose due to periodontal disease, and to replace defects in the dentition. The milled bite splint includes artificial crown elements for movable teeth. For all teeth that have mobility in one of the directions: vestibulo-oral or mediodistal direction, the artificial elements of the splint are designed to be located on the lingual or palatal surface of the teeth, overlapping the clinical equators of teeth by 2 mm and to position the lower border along the edge of the marginal periodontal gum. For teeth that have mobility in two or more directions: both in the vestibulo-oral and mediodistal directions, the artificial elements of the splint are designed to be positioned from the vestibular surface, repeating the clinical anatomy of the natural tooth crown, and have a thickness of 0.5 mm. The splint is made of zirconium dioxide and is manufactured using the CAD/CAM technique when recognizing the optical impression of a clinical situation in the patient's mouth and is individualized for existing teeth by applying a ceramic mass and dyes followed by glazing.
EFFECT: production of an adhesive bite splint with included artificial elements of the crown part of the most mobile teeth, used in case of subsequent tooth extraction in fixed dentures with the function of dentition immobilization and stabilization.
