FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical sizing and can be used for making recesses that compose turbulence promoters in narrow grooves, for example, in heat engine cooling systems. Template breadboard is made of elastic flexible dielectric sheet its depth making half the difference between part groove width and that of electrode in said groove. Template breadboard is provided with through openings to make recesses in part grooves of preset sizes and position. Then, template breadboard is loaded in transverse direction with increasing stretching forces at measurement of breadboard material depth to decrease it to preset spark gap. Now, stretching force is fixed to measure sizes and position of said through openings in template breadboard and their shift relative to preset magnitudes. Results of measurements allowed for, the same material is used to make template breadboard is made of elastic flexible dielectric sheet its depth making half the difference between part groove width and that of electrode in said groove.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of the process.
