FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming. Claimed process comprises the processing of the channel by tool electrode provided with the flexible template from the resilient material with through openings over the profile of ribs and bottom of processed channel. Note here that said tool electrode is fitted without clearance against the stop in the channel and locked thereat. Then, stretching force is applied to the template ends to get the preset clearance between the template and the channel. The position of tool electrode and template is fixed to feed the electrolyte in formed clearance for electrochemical processing at the points opposite the template openings and to make the recesses. Note here that processing is performed unless the preset-size recesses are made at the channel bottom. Now, the tool electrode with template is displaced to a tight contact between latter and channel bottom without change in the clearance on the side of channel ribs.
EFFECT: preset depth of the turbulence promoting cooling channels.
