FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electromachining annular or screw channels in billets of current conducting materials by local dissolution of metal around dielectric inserts. Electrolyte flow is divided into jets with equal initial inlet pressure to allow stable electrolyte flow via inner and outer circuits with extra pulsed pressure inside inner circuit to press the latter to outer circuit. Note here that pause between pressure pulses is multiple of time of electrolyte flowing between adjacent radial holes in outer circuit to feed electrolyte in machining zone. Proposed device comprises electrode tool consisting of outer circuit with dielectric resilient inserts and resilient inner circuit wherein outer and inner circuits are aligned and have radial holes extending across channel axis or in screw line along channel axis. Note here that said radial channels to feed electrolyte via outer circuit are located opposite those to feed electrolyte via inner circuit with its wall expand radially at electrolyte pressure to contact with outer circuit.
