SUBSTANCE: parameters of antenna systems are measured using a space-time selection method. Measurement is carried out using a system for automated setup of parameters for temporal filtering of noise components of a microwave signal, where as the generator and the receiver a vector circuit analyser is used.

EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring beam pattern, beam width and sidelobe level of different antenna systems, and measuring the scattering cross-section of objects and electromagnetic compatibility.
