SUBSTANCE: measurement is performed at two levels through slot depth, at that measuring surface of the device is located in the measured slot, then reading device is rigidly connected with the casing in the measuring direction, opposite round casing ands shaft displacement is performed, ensuring alignment of slot middle with centre line of the casing, indicator zero is set, then measuring surface is released from contact with side surfaces of the slot, the measuring surface is located at level close to bottom of the checked slot, the reading device is released from rigid link with casing in the measuring direction, it is inserted in the measuring surface for firm contact with walls of the measuring slot, ensuring displacement of the reading device relatively casing by value of symmetry deviation, that is registered by indicator reading, and to determine parallelism of the symmetry plane of the slot relatively the shaft axis the casing of the measuring device is shifted along the shaft by work length of the slot, and measurement is repeated to determine symmetry, and deviation of parallelism of the symmetry plane is determined as difference of indicator readings with same sign, or as sum of readings with different signs.
EFFECT: increased capacity, accuracy and reliability of measurements.
