FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: truss filler represents a voluminous structure from various materials in the form of cells shaped as repeating pyramidal and tetrahedral structures. Made by laser cutting from materials, such as metals, ceramics, glass, polymers, composites, semiconductors. Material cloth is cut into three types of repeating zigzag-shaped rod elements. In one version the cloth is cut into zigzag-shaped rod elements with cogs on tops, in the second one - the cloth is cut into zigzag-shaped rod elements without cogs, in the third one - into zigzag-shaped rod elements without and with cogs, in the fourth - into rods having two tops with cogs. In grooves of their bases of all types of zigzag-shaped rod elements they make slots. On linings they made holes for dimensions of cogs for accurate connection with cells, afterwards they collect zigzag-shaped rod elements into a single filler structure, so that slots of grooves of the base with the cogs of the first and third elements match with slots of grooves of the base of second element tops, afterwards pyramidal cells are produced, having one common top with each of the adjacent ones. To produce tetrahedral cells, they connect slots of grooves of the base of the third element tops with slots of grooves of the fourth element base, afterwards the produced cells are connected by linings, for these purpose the cogs arranged on tops and ends of each of zigzag-shaped rod elements are inserted into slots of holes in linings and area of their contact is welded or glued for tight connection of the filler with linings.
EFFECT: simplified method to manufacture truss filler with cells in the form of pyramidal and tetrahedral structures and their increased stiffness by increasing quality of their connection with the help of gluing, welding or soldering.
