FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to gated CT data reconstruction by cardiac function. A system comprises: a CT scanner and a flat-panel X-ray detector, which performs slow CT scanning of the patient's heart, for the purpose of forming a number of data arrays of projected images as a frame continuously rotates about the patient; a patient monitoring device, which forms physiological cycle phase data; and a processor, which separates the projected images data from a number of physiological cycle phases so that the data for each physiological cycle phase cover a number of short circular arcs determined by means of long circular arcs; the long circular arcs are longer than the short circular arcs; the system completes an algorithm of the sparse data reconstruction and reconstructs the image of each physiological cycle phase; each image is reconstructed for a number of the short circular arcs respective to the physiological cycle phase during a number of the physiological cycles.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing more accurate formation of static images of specific cardiac cycle phases.
