FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: feed grain is charged into a heat exchanger by 50-60% of its volume. It is treated with the exhaust steam at a temperature of 120-130°C with constant stirring by the fluidization mechanism creating a vacuum effect. Placed in a sealed chamber in which treated simultaneously with main steam and microwave energy, with continuous vigorous stirring from the bottom upwards. Expanded in the swelling chamber with separation of the finished product from emanating steam by fan airflow passing through the perforated inclined planes of the swelling chamber.
EFFECT: method of production of the expanded product of feed grain enables to simplify the technology of processing the free-running, non-free-running, dry and moist feed grain, to improve the quality of the expanded feed and to reduce specific energy consumption.
