FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: circular paraumbilical access in newborns and infants is performed. Skin edges are mobilised by dissection of subcutaneous adipose cellular tissue in horizontal direction within 1 cm on circumference. Right rectus muscle is divided into layers in longitudinal direction along 7-8 mm. Parietal peritoneum is dissected on medium line upwards from navel. Edges of laparotomic wound are separated by hooks.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce operation trauma in treatment of pyloric stenosis and duodenum artresia, reduce risk of intra- and post-operative complication and improve cosmetic result.
