SUBSTANCE: sealing unit (28) is inserted into the opening (26) of the housing (22). The sealing unit (28) comprises a sealing device (32) with a plurality of cable ports (30). The sealing device also has a peripheral seal between the housing (22) and the sealing unit (28). The sealing unit (28) comprises a drive device (31) for compressing the sealing device (32) in the opening (26) of the sealing unit. The sealing device (32) comprises several sealing modules (33a-33e), each of which is only part of compressible sealing device (32).
EFFECT: possibility of reusing telecommunication housings.
