FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: one proposes a cartridge (10) for preparation of a liquid product, for instance, beverage such as coffee by means of liquid and/or steam introduced into the cartridge (10) containing a portion of the filler (12) consisting of at least one substance such as, for instance, powdered coffee that may generate the said product with usage of the said liquid and/or steam. The portion is placed between films (14, 16) whereto the said liquid and/or steam may be transversally supplied; the said films (14, 16) are connected together around the portion of the filler (12). The said films (14, 16) are made of a compostable material (that is material that may be subjected to composting and biodegradation) and connected together around the portion of the filler (12) with usage of a connective material (30) which is also compostable. Therefore the cartridge in general may be disposed by way of composting and biodegradation in accordance with the European Standard UNI EN 13432:2002 and/or its subsequent modifications and integrations.
EFFECT: possibility of used material disposal.
