FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining copper (I) oxide includes electrochemical oxidation and dispersion of electrodes in electrolyser in sodium chloride solution. Concentration of sodium chloride solution constitutes 2-6 mol/l. Process is carried out with application of two copper electrodes under action of symmetric or asymmetric alternating pulse current with 50 Hz frequency. The average current value related to unit of area of surface of electrodes, equals 0.2-1.5 A/cm2. Temperature of synthesis constitutes 55-60°C. After that, product is washed with bidistilled water, filtered and dried at temperature 80°C to constant weight.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce energy consumption, increase process productivity, and vary size of obtained particles.
