FIELD: nanotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of nanotechnology, namely to methods for producing nanoscale materials that can serve as photocatalysts in the processes of oxidation of organic pollutants present in water and air, and can be used in the chemical, pharmaceutical and textile industries. A method for producing zeolite-containing composites based on zinc oxide consists in the electrochemical oxidation of zinc electrodes under the action of alternating pulse current in an electrolyte solution containing zeolite particles of the ZSM-5 or NaY type. In this case, the synthesis is carried out in one stage under the influence of an asymmetric alternating pulse current at an average anode and cathode current density of 1.2÷2.4 A/cm2 using lithium chloride as an electrolyte at constant stirring of 200 rpm, followed by filtration and drying at 80°C to a constant mass.

EFFECT: photocatalytically active material is obtained, which is a crystalline zinc oxide deposited on a zeolite adsorbent of the ZSM-5 or NaY type, making high-speed adsorption of organic compounds and their decomposition to final products possible.
