FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular secondary treatment of aluminium wastes, such as spent aluminium packing after beverages and products, and can be used to produce secondary aluminium alloys, aluminium deoxidants to melt alloys, including steels. Method includes defragmentation of packed aluminium wastes to particles size with fractional composition +50-100 mm, magnetic separation of secondary aluminium raw materials to remove magnetic fraction, magnetic-eddy current separation, defragmentation to particles size with fractional composition +5-30 mm, heat cleaning at 400-625°C, and dust products removal. As result aluminium grits are produced with aluminium content in quantity exceeding or equal to 95% with fractional composition +5-30 mm, it can be used as steel deoxidant.
EFFECT: increased degree of cleaning of aluminium grits, uniformity of its chemical composition, and production of aluminium grits with aluminium content at least 95%.
