FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a primary converter, having a canal section, through which liquid flow passes, and a metering unit, having a low frequency AC voltage source, besides, the primary converter has a tap made of electroconductive material and connected to a water supply system, and two electrodes, one of which is located along the jet trajectory line, approximately in its middle, and the other is located in the flow on the canal bottom, besides, the tap and the electrode arranged on the bottom of the canal are connected to the low frequency AC voltage source, and the electrode located approximately in the middle of the jet and the electrode located on the bottom of the canal, are connected to the inlet of the measurement unit, and differs by the fact that the primary converter has a tray made of non-electroconductive material and arranged between the tap and the electrode located on the bottom of the canal, at the angle α<π/2 to the surface of the interface "air - liquid", and the electrode located along the jet trajectory line approximately in its middle is fixed in the tray cavity.
EFFECT: increased reliability of level measurement.
