FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for measuring the flow level of wastewater flowing in pipelines; it can be used to determine the liquid level in open and closed channels. In a flow height sensor in a pipeline with unfilled liquid, containing an electromagnetic oscillation generator, an amplitude detector, an amplifier and an amplitude meter, a circulator and a metal pin are introduced, located perpendicular to the flow inside the pipeline between its walls with a height equal to a pipeline diameter, wherein an output of the electromagnetic oscillation generator is connected to the first circulator arm, the second circulator arm is connected to the pin, the third circulator arm is connected to an input of the amplitude detector, an output of the latter is connected to an input of the amplitude meter.

EFFECT: simplification of the procedure of measurement of the flow height in the pipeline with unfilled liquid.
