FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of hot-rolled stock from low-alloy steel meant for making of parts by stamping and shaping. This process comprises slabs heating at continuous wide-strip mill at roughing and finishing stands and cooling at laminar plant. Non-flatness of blanks not exceeding 7 mm/m after lengthwise melting of hot-rolled strip results from setting of the number of actuated manifolds of the laminar plant any section from the strip bottom and top sides equal to 1:2. Water flow rate at top manifolds is set to 0.70-0.90 relative to that at bottom manifolds. This rules out the presence of bainite in metal rolled stock in j over the depth from both sides of the strip and the difference in ferrite grain size between the surfaces no exceeding 1 unit.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of the process.
