FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of rolled stock on a wide-strip multi-stage mill. Proposed method comprises rolling, intensive cooling and subsequent laminar cooling in fixed length sections arranged along discharge roller bed axis and during transfer of strip along discharge roller bed from last mill stand to winding zone. After the strip out of the last mill stand, the rolling end temperature is measured, followed by the regulated intensive water cooling of the upper and lower surfaces of the strip, which is started at a certain distance from the final stand of the finishing group, at least two lateral washouts of the water layer from the upper surface of the strip, after intensive cooling there performed is regulated laminar cooling of strip, and immediately after that, regulated corrective laminar cooling is performed, and in case of strip temperature deviation from cooling end temperature specified value by more than 20 °C appropriate correction of specific water flow for stage of correcting cooling of strip is performed.
EFFECT: improved mechanical properties and structural-phase state of rolled metal.
