FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, and are intended for treatment of aural infections, caused by quinolone-resistant microbes, in particular Ciprofloxacin-resistant microbes. Pharmaceutical composition includes finafloxacin or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt in concentration 0.1-1.0 wt/vol %. Also the method of treating acute external otitis or acute otitis media with tympanostomy tubes, caused by quinolone-resistant microbes, in particular Ciprofloxacin-resistant microbes is provided. Claimed method includes instillation of aural composition for local application, which includes finafloxacin in concentration 0.1-1.0 wt/vol % into subject's external ear canal.
EFFECT: application of group of inventions makes it possible to increase efficiency of local treatment of aural infections.
