FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to non-surgical methods of treating a locomotor system, and is applicable to prevent complications in lumbar osteochondrosis. The method involves dry warm-up of the lumbar region from the back; that is followed by a segmental paravertebral massage, also covering spaces between spinous processes of the vertebras; a low-amplitude vibration massage is followed by lumbar traction, herewith providing a free access to the entire lumbar region; a portable spinal assistant is put on until the traction procedure is completed; the spinal assistant eliminating excessive lumbar curvatures in the frontal plane, is used.
EFFECT: method enables eliminating the risk of lateral spinal disc herniation, and if any, reducing the risk of complications.
