SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used in developing devices for stand-alone gastrointestinal endoscopy. A videocapsular diagnostic complex comprises a recorded image receiving, processing and displaying unit, a control joystick, an antenna, a videocapsule, a body of which encloses a power supply, a light source, a video camera, a data recording and transmission unit module, a gastrointestinal measurements storage unit, gastrointestinal monitoring sensors, an antenna signal receiver connected to a controller for managing by an electrically-actuated oscillation mechanism. The oscillation mechanism is configured inertial and comprises an eccentric cam mounted on a shaft of the electrical actuator; an external surface of the videocapsule body bears structural elements in the form of a helical bar generating resistance force directed along a long axis of the body, varying when the unit moves forward and backward along the gastrointestinal tract.

EFFECT: using the invention enables extending the range of gastrointestinal probes.
