FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to surgical dentistry and is applicable for treating sialolithiasis. Sub-lingual tissues are incised directly above a sialolith after preliminary manual pressing and continuous fixation of the salivary gland as high as possible to a sub-lingual mucosa. The sub-lingual tissues and salivary gland are incised by means of an L-shaped needle electrode of an electrosurgical apparatus operating in the pulse mode of cutting and coagulation. The power is 7 W; the length of contact to the incised tissues is 1-2 s.
EFFECT: method enables preserving the salivary gland, avoiding a great extent of injures; it provides a minimum invasiveness of the intervention, prevents haemorrhage development due to special parameters of the tissue exposure to the electrosurgical apparatus.
