FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: system includes on-board RFID code sensors on mobile objects, a sensor code reader, wheel axle sensors, information transmitting means, an information concentrator, rolling stock video surveillance elements in the form of a rolling stock illuminating projector and video cameras with a visible subject recognition unit and a reader equipped with a timer. During operation of the system, an array of frames of an image of rolling stock carriages is linked to its carriage based on the result of forming, in the concentrator based on reader information, a rolling stock structure with time marks of the beginning and end of each rolling stock carriage, which are transmitted to the visible subject recognition unit, which breaks down the image array into image packets linked to the carriage, and after filtering and determining the carriage number, said data are transmitted to the concentrator to form the structure of the fully recognised rolling stock and subsequent transmission of data characterising said structure for storage and subsequent use.
EFFECT: high accuracy of recognition and identification of a rolling stock.
