FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: consumable electrode contains in wt %: carbon 0.02-0.06, manganese max. 0.5, silicon max. 0.5, nickel max. 0.5, chrome 13.0-16.0, copper max. 0.30, molybdenum max. 0.3, tungsten max. 0.2, vanadium 0.15-0.30, titanium 3.6-4.0, aluminium max. 0.5, and boron 1.3-1.8, wherein the ratio titanium:boron in initial metal of electrode is at least 2.2.

EFFECT: invention ensures metal production corresponding to the requirements of made steel grade "ЧС82" with warranted content of titanium and with uniform properties through volume of the melted ingot.
