FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fiber laying in making articles from composite materials. Proposed unit comprises fiber laying head displacement head, fiber storage means and those to feed fibers from said storage to fiber laying head. Feed means comprise flexible tubes connecting storage means with laying head, each allowing fiber laying in its inner channel. Ends of said flexible tubes are secured to laying head and storage means by front and rear fasteners. Note here that every flexible tube is furnished with, at least, one flexible lengthwise rectangular cross-section plate and arranged, in fact, parallel with fiber stretching direction and inside flexible tube inner channel.
EFFECT: ruled out fiber turning in laying, decreased overall dimensions.
