FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: spectrometer comprises a spark source, an inlet slot, a toroidal mirror to direct light via an inlet slot, several diffraction gratings and a matrix receiver. The toroidal mirror is designed to send light via the inlet slot so that light from different areas in the spark source is spatially separated on light reflection at diffraction gratings. At the same time the first diffraction grating is preferably illuminated with light from the first area of the spark source, and simultaneously the second diffraction grating is preferably illuminated with light from the second area of the spark source.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurements.
