SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. A method of setting up security applications on a plurality of different devices, in which conformity is established between security tasks and different sets of security modules executed on corresponding devices; determining change in parameters setting up the security modules within the corresponding security task; based on information on the devices and security modules, determining devices containing security modules to be set up according to said change in parameters; in response to the result of determining devices, which indicates identification of at least one device having all security modules to be set up according to said change in parameters, generating and transmitting security module setup instructions to the local module of a remote agent being executed on said device.

EFFECT: high efficiency of controlling parameters of applications on a plurality of different computing devices.
