FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention deals with method for detecting serological affinity of microbes, which have common determinants in composition of lipopolysaccharides. Method includes obtaining specific antibodies against lipopolysaccharides of "model strain", serological affinity to which it is necessary to determine. Method includes: growing cultures of analysed strains of bacteria of genus Azospirillum and addition of antibodies in "working" concentration to bacterial suspensions with further preparation of specimens for light microscopy, assessment of motility of bacterial of genus Azospirillum, detection of bacteria, which have common determinants in composition of polysaccharides, by reduction of motility of bacterial if genus Azospirillum in presence of antibodies against "model strain" lipopolysaccharides. As "working" concentration of antibodies, used is doubled concentration of antibodies, in presence of which all cells of homologous model strain of bacteria of genus Azospirillum are immobile.

EFFECT: claimed invention makes it possible to reduce time for detection of serologically affined strains of bacteria of genus Azospirillum directly in liquid bacterial cultures.
