SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and communication and can be used as a device for amplifying analogue high-frequency and microwave signals and in analogue microcircuits for different functional purposes (e.g. broadband amplifiers). The cascode amplifier with an extended operating bandwidth comprises an input voltage-to-current converter, two power supply buses, two output transistors, a collector load resistor, an additional non-inverting voltage amplifier and a balancing capacitor.
EFFECT: wider operating bandwidth of the cascode amplifier (higher upper frequency limit fv) without degradation of voltage gain in the operating bandwidth.
