FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method is realised under pressure from 110 MPa to 350 MPa and at temperature from 100°C to 350°C in tubular reactor with, at least, two reaction zones. Reaction zones have different concentration of chain transfer agent. Concentration of chain transfer agent in first reaction zone constitutes less than 70% of concentration of chain transfer agent in reaction zone with the highest concentration of chain transfer agent. Also described is ethylene homopolymer or copolymer, obtained by claimed method, application of ethylene homopolymer and copolymer and method of application on substrate.

EFFECT: obtaining low density polymers, suitable for application of coatings by extrusion, which have wide molecular distribution and higher degree of long-chain branching in LCB chain with high molecular weight.
