SUBSTANCE: paste consists of: (A) - 10-90 wt %, relative to the paste weight, mixture (A) based on fine powdered graphite and/or anthracite with size of particles less than 0.2 mm, at least per 95%, at least one carbon admixed to solvent and/or dispergator for the above carbon; auxiliary agents; in the mixture with (B) - 90-10 wt %, relative to the paste weight, non-metal carbonaceous graphite material (B) that does not contain metal and/or metal oxides and represented mainly by powdered carbon with size of particles more than 0.2 mm. At that when in the component (A) the above admixtures are present they represent one or more admixtures selected from the group consisting of inorganic admixtures; metalorganic admixtures based on P, B, Si; stearine; saturated, monosaturated or polysaturated fatty acids; organic acids or mixture of the above compounds, at that the above admixtures are in total quantity of 0.1-10 wt % relative to the total paste weight, and in quantity of 1-5 wt %, when it concerns admixtures based on metalloids and transitions metals. The invention is also referred to the paste manufacturing method, ferroalloys manufacturing method, self-baking Soederberg electrode, application of paste (A)+(B) and paste (A) for production of metal materials and Soederberg electrodes.
EFFECT: paste features low emission of aromatic polycyclic hydrocarbon.
