SUBSTANCE: invention relates to purification of wasted alkali electrolytes of copper plating, regeneration of copper (II) cations and complexones and can be applied in galvanoplasty and in industrial ecology. Method for regeneration purification of wasted copper-tartrate alkali electrolytes, which contain copper (II) cations, includes reduction of copper (II) cartions to copper (I) oxide of with heating, removal of copper (I) oxide and potassium hydrotartrate from acidic solution, their regeneration, with of hydroxylamine salts being applied as reducer, with reduction being realised at pH 10-12, temperature 60°C for 15 minutes and molar ratio υ (Cu):υ (amine) = 1:1.1.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to maximally completely extract all components from wasted electrolytes and to purify water to necessary hygienic indices.
