FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns treatment of spent alkaline solutions of copper coating, regeneration of copper cations (II) and complexones and can be used in electrolytic metallurgy and in industrial ecology. Method of regeneration treatment of alkaline solutions of copper coating, containing trilon B or Rochelle salt in the capacity of complexon includes copper cations (II) reduction and extraction from acidic solution of edetic acid or potassium hydro- tartrate respectively. Copper cations (II) are reduced by means of addition into alkaline solution of monosaccharide at heating with forming of black copper oxide (I) residue and after extraction of edetic acid or potassium hydro- tartrate there is reduced copper (II) residual quantity by means of cementation on iron in acid medium. Formed black copper oxide (I), edetic acid or potassium hydro- tartrate are regenerated.

EFFECT: extraction from spent of complexones and copper cations for its usage in preparation processes of galvanic solutions and treatment of effluents with achieving of values of copper cations concentration lower than maximum permissible concentration.
