FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine. A method for information transmission from an implantable device to its user is implemented by means of the implantable device. That involves emitting a sound from a transmitter unit into body tissues surrounding the implantable device. The emitted sound generates signals which the user of the implantable device hears, contains modulated ultrasonic frequencies having an audio content, and encodes the implantable device and/or body status information. The transmitter unit is configured implantable in an acoustic contact with a skull of the user of the implantable device. The implantable device comprises a sound receiver for receiving a sound from the surrounding body tissues. A control unit of the implantable device is configured to control the transmitter unit and detect the pre-set codes in the received sound.
EFFECT: ensured ease and safety of use, simple and reliable information transmission from the implantable device to the user; the safety of use is ensured by the fact that the implant can transmit the information to the user with no external receiver applied.
