FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to a medical device for electric stimulation. The device comprises an implanted system of elongated inlets having a distal end and a proximal end; the inlet system comprises at least one electric conductor connected to at least one electrode. At least one electric conductor is wound along a longitudinal axis of the inlet system in the form of the number of coils; a coil density is irregularly distributed along the longitudinal axis. According to one embodiment, the medical device is configured in the form of a device for deep brain stimulation.
EFFECT: invention enables minimising a temperature rise in the conducting portions.
