FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway vehicles. Emergent brake control process consists in identification of the axle unacceptably sliding at emergent braking beyond the preset optimum area of sliding at braking. Then, the axle sliding at emergent braking or in unacceptable way is identified to allow the transfer of higher braking force as compared with that of unacceptably sliding axle. Then, friction braking forces are matched. Emergent brake comprises the brake drives to develop the friction forces, identification means, transducer to fix the actual deceleration of rail-mounted vehicle at emergent braking and electric control device meant for control over the brake drive or drives.
EFFECT: decreased braking distance.
