FIELD: railway automatics.
SUBSTANCE: in the method, when a rail vehicle is moving along a railway section, a travel section is provided that terminates in front of or at a dangerous place of the railway section; vehicle is braked during the brake phase at the beginning of the section, based on the first (V0) speed; during the braking phase, the vehicle energy absorption unit takes the kinetic value (ΔEkin) of the kinetic energy (Ekin) of the vehicle; the braking phase is accompanied by a phase of energy reduction in the travel section in which at least a part (ΔEQ) of absorbed energy (ΔEkin) is outputted by the energy absorption unit, so that the energy output does not affect either the kinetic or potential energy (Epot) of the vehicle; the travel section is determined so that the energy parametric value of the state, characteristic of the train energy (Etrain), taking into account the energy (EQ) available at least in the energy absorption unit, corresponds to the condition in a dangerous place. And the train energy (Etrain) is the sum of the kinetic energy (Ekin), potential energy (Epot) and energy (EQ), present in the energy absorption unit.
EFFECT: short travel time without compromising safety is achieved.
