SUBSTANCE: method to calculate sonic speed of a fluid flowing via a vibration flow metre includes excitation of flow metre oscillations on one or several frequencies and reception of an oscillating response. The method additionally includes production of the first property of the fluid and production of at least the second property of the fluid. The method additionally includes calculation of sonic speed of the fluid, based on the first property of the fluid, and at least the second property of the fluid. The vibration flow metre for calculation of sonic speed of the flowing fluid comprises a measuring assembly, including vibration sensors, and connected measurement electronics. At the same time the measurement electronics is configured to realise the stages of the method. The system of the vibration flow metre for calculation of sonic speed of the flowing fluid comprises the first flow metre and at least the second flow metre, and a system of processing connected with the first and at least the second flow metres, with the system of the vibration flow metre.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of sonic speed detection in a fluid.
