FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to batteries recycling method by breaking or crushing of waste batteries in order to produce recycled materials, and this method includes the following stages: sorting multitude of batteries into groups by their manufacturing technology; removing batteries with button cells from the above groups; breaking the above groups of batteries into particles equal to approximately one quarter of inch or less in order to obtain final mass of particles; removing ferromagnetic material from final mass of particles, delivering final mass of particles for treatment process or remelting in order to produce recycled materials; at that breaking of batteries is performed initially at temperature of 40-50°C using cyclone for removal of emitted gases, thereafter the received mixture through an air permeable transportation pipe is delivered for final crushing.
EFFECT: improved extraction ratio for recycled materials from waste batteries at minimum harmful environmental impact.
