FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: at zonal and phase control by the rectifying and inverting converter in the mode of regenerative braking using the operated electronic switches the activation of unregulated winding of the traction transformer at each half-cycle of voltage is performed within the interval from zero to a certain moment, and deactivation is performed no later than at the half-cycle end. For achievement of full zone of the phase of activation and deactivation of regulated winding of the traction transformer the same, as during the work of unregulated winding, for decrease of rectified voltage zone the activation and deactivation of regulated winding is performed by phase in such a way that the zone voltage continues to decrease from a certain moment, from the beginning to the end of the half-cycle of voltage, thereby shifting the maximum instant values of current towards the maximum instant values of mains voltage. The discharge diode arm, the duration of operation of which is defined by the series connected electronic switch, works within the period when all arms are closed, providing continuous flow of the current of armature of engines.
EFFECT: maximum increase of power factor in the mode of regenerative braking.
