FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. Disclosed is method of control of alternating-current electric locomotive with rectified-inverting converter (RIC) with diode discharge arms, by different-phase control of angle transducers α0 and αp with diversity in time of commutation of thyristors of arms of different converters, in which for initial opening of arms connected to secondary winding of transformer with low voltage, opening angles are formed in accordance with mathematical expression where α0 – minimum angle of converter thyristors number 1 opening; n is number of converter; N is number of converters in electric locomotive; T0max – maximum time of different-phase RIC control by angle α0. Phase-adjustable angles of opening of thyristors of arms of converters connected to a secondary winding of a transformer with a higher voltage, are formed in accordance with mathematical expression
where αp is phase-controlled opening angle of converter thyristors number 1; Tpmax – maximum time of different-phase RIC control by angle αp.
EFFECT: proposed method of electric locomotive RICs control using diode discharge arm provides increase of power factor and reduction of power supply voltage sinusoidality distortion coefficient; different direction of angle shift α0 and αp in this case allows to equalize average voltage on electric locomotive electric motors, changing at equal-phase control of RIC, and also to reduce pulsation of rectified current.
