FIELD: printing industry.
SUBSTANCE: ink cartridge, set of assembled ink cartridges, jet printer, module and method of detection of ink cartridge installation are suggested. The module contains light emitter, controller, processing unit and control unit, at that light emitter is made with possibility to ensure the light source; controller includes receiving unit made with possibility to receive multiple commands of detection of the ink cartridge installation, send by jet printer via busbar; command of detection of ink cartridge installation includes command of emission control and information of ink cartridge identification; information of ink cartridge identification corresponds to ink cartridge, that shall response to the emission control command; emission control command includes command of switching on or command of switching off; the processing unit is made with possibility to analyze the command of detection of the ink cartridge installation; the control unit is made with possibility to switch on or off the light emitter in accordance with the results of analysis of the processing unit.
EFFECT: invention improves university of the ink cartridges and detects the ink cartridge installation with lower expenses.
