FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: application: in electrical engineering. Technical state on-line monitoring device for high-voltage power transmission lines (PTL) comprises at each phase of the power transmission line between two poles at least one acceleration sensor with assigned address defining its coordinates and location of overhead span, temperature sensor and moisture sensor related to inputs of the microprocessor, wherein on the basis of signals from the above sensors data is generated with specification of overhead span address on commencement of snow sticking or ice forming at PTL wires, amplitudes of wires swinging or wire breaking. At that output of the microprocessor is coupled to transceiver intended for communication with the dispatchers' console and power is supplied to electronic circuits by the power supply unit made as magnet core mounted at high-voltage PTL wire and used as primary winding of the transformer complete with secondary winding of the transformer that supplies power to electronic circuits of the device.
EFFECT: improved accuracy and reliability of the device, increased data content and operational efficiency of decision-making process.
