FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of electric energy accumulation and storage in ionistors, having an increased specific capacity, power and low density of leak current. The invention essence is that a medium for charge transition in the ionistor is ionised gaseous molecules of non-organic complex compounds of metals and/or salts.
EFFECT: method is characterised by the low density of the leak current (1-20 microA/cm2) and ensures the use of the ionistors under sever temperature conditions (600-1000°C).
