FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device for creating surgical anastomoses by needle-ended sutures comprises a body and needles. The body represents an extended body provided with a holder and having end portions configured insertable into a lumen of attachable organs. The needles are provided in the end portions of the body. One needle of each suture is provided in one end portion of the body, whereas the second needle - in the opposite one. The end portions are provided with circumferentially equispaced needle holes. The needles are arranged in the above end portions so that a blunt end of the needle in an attachment point of the suture is close to the periphery of the end portion, whereas a sharp end is turned towards the respective hole, however buried in an outer surface of the body. The needles are configured to move through the holes of the end portions with at least a portion of the needle passing through the above holes to puncture the attachable organs. A method for creating surgical anastomoses of hollow and/or tubular organs by means of the needle-ended sutures involves inserting one end portion of the above device with the buried needles into the lumen of one of the attachable hollow organs. That is followed by advancing the sharp ends of the needles through the holes of the end portions of the above device from the periphery to the centre of the body to puncture walls of one of the attachable organs. Further, the second end portion of the device is inserted into the lumen of the second one of the attachable hollow organs. The sharp ends of the needles are advanced through the holes of the second end portion of the device to puncture the walls of the second one of the attachable organs. Thereafter, the projecting sharp ends of the needles are alternatively gripped; the needles are removed together with the suture; the device is removed from the lumen of the sutured organs, and the sutures are tied up until the organs are attached completely.
EFFECT: inventions simplify and facilitate the process of anastomosis creation in surgical practice, ensures higher-quality and more reliable attachment of a variety of hollow organs, or hollow or tubular structures.
