FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. The surgical suturing tool comprises a thrust assembly, a thrust rod, an ejector, an activating shoulder, a safety switch and a safety element. The thrust unit is connected to the thrust rod. The ejector pushes multiple staples into the tissue. The activating shoulder is in connection with the surgical suturing tool and is able to activate the ejector for pushing the multiple staples into the tissue. The safety switch is designed to be moved between locked and unlocked positions. The safety switch prevents activating shoulder operation when the safety switch is in the locked position. The safety switch allows activating shoulder operation when the safety switch is in the unlocked position.
EFFECT: safety element prevents ejector operation when the safety switch is in the unlocked position, or prevents safety switch operation.
