FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: right ventricular inflow tract (PDV cm), left ventricular inflow tract (PSV cm), left ventricular outflow tract (OSV cm) are measured. A patient's height is specified; if the patient has a postinfarction scar, its area is also measured (PIKS cm2). That is followed by calculating a goal patient's weight by formula: 22*height2 (m), and a body surface area (PP) by original formula. A goal body surface area (IP) is calculated as an arithmetic mean value of the body surface areas by formulas 1 and 2. A right ventricular inflow to goal body surface area ratio (PDVIP), a right ventricular outflow to goal body surface area ratio (ODVIP), a left ventricular inflow to goal body surface area ratio (PSVIP) and a left ventricular outflow to goal body surface area ratio (OSVIP) are derived. A free regression coefficient (KRG) is determined by original formula. A left ventricular ejection fraction (EF) is determined by formula.
EFFECT: method enables providing the higher accuracy and reliability of the pathological assessment of the left ventricular ejection fraction.
