FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for manufacturing copper electrolytic powder with particle size less than 63 mcm with specific surface area within range from 1900 up to 2500 cm2/g and bulk specific gravity less than 0.75 g/cm3. Electrolysis is carried out at copper rod-type cathodes in electrolyte with sulphuric acid at two values of cathodic current density of 2400 and 2800 A/m2 with mixing up of the obtained powder fractions and further washing from electrolyte.
EFFECT: reduced specific surface area and bulk specific gravity of the powder.
