SUBSTANCE: renal vessels are examined by colour flow mapping. A maximum blood flow velocity in interlobar renal veins is determined, and a risk of an acute renal injury is diagnosed if the determined velocity is more than 0.14 m/s.
EFFECT: technique enables to provide the more objective diagnosis of the acute renal injury accompanying different forms of acute pancreatitis by assessing the functional renal health.
